Harvey Linder graduated from East High School. He was editor of the school yearbook “The Beacon”, and was also a yearbook photographer and writer for the school newpaper, “The Blue & Grey”, as well as being active in the National Honor Society, Key Club, National Thespian Society, Boys State, and was one of two National Achievement Scholarship recipients in East Tennessee.
He is widowed, a father of two, and currently lives in Minneapolis Minnesota, where he is retired from a career as a Clinical Psychologist and Human Services Program Manager for Hennepin County, Mn. He is actively involved in the Association of Black Psychologists, does occasional work as a consultant, and volunteers for a number of community organizations.
At the United Class of 1968’s 50th Reunion, Harvey volunteered to head the Leadership Team that will plan the next reunion. He also manages this website.
